DTN COMMENTS: A few bids are on the table in parts of Nebraska at midday, 
but they continue to be passed. A light trade took place in most areas 
yesterday with Northern dressed deals showing a range of $338 to $347, 
mostly $345, $6 lower than the previous week's weighted average, basis 
Nebraska. Southern live business was marked at mostly $224, $4 lower than 
the prior week's weighted averages. 

Beef cutouts are mixed at midday (choice 370.94 -0.29, select 353.84 
+0.29) with light to moderate box movement (41.76 lds of choice cuts, 
9.74 lds of select cuts, 4.94 lds of trim, and 13.91 lds of ground). Live 
cattle futures at midday are mixed, mostly sharply lower, while feeder 
issues are sharply lower.
